Our monastery is located at 7820 Bolsa Ave., Midway City, CA. The Patrician Brothers have missions in Ireland, India, USA, Australia, Kenya, Ghana and Papua New Guinea.  We encourage men from all ethnic and racial groups to consider becoming a member of our Order.
 


Rental Information:

Located only one mile from the 405 freeway in the heart of Orange County, you will enter a spiritual oasis sponsored by the Patrician Brothers. This peaceful, six acre park-like setting is ideal for day and evening retreats, workshops and days/evenings of prayer.  Large and small groups welcome for weddings, receptions, birthdays.  Facilities include a Chapel, kitchen, courtyard, classrooms, dance stages, band stand and ample parking. Since 1948, the Brothers have taught at Catholic High Schools in Southern California including: Mater Dei, St. Monica’s, Pater Noster, St. Bernard’s, Salesian & Bellarmine-Jefferson.

   NOTE FOR USER:  When you make your reservation, you will be required to pay a non-refundable reservation/cleaning deposit. For your protection, you should make a pre-event inspection of the premises and notify the Facility Supervisor of any problems.  Your group is responsible to clean up after use of facilities.  This deposit is also a facility reservation deposit. 

  • Total fees must be paid before the event.
     
  • Groups having more than 200 attendees will be required to provide additional portable toilets at one per additional 50 attendees.
  •  For Wedding Receptions and Quinceaneras see Facilities Director for fee schedule and requirements.

·     Reservation Invoice must be filled out for each request accompanied by deposit. 

  • ALCOHOL Alcohol may be served.  If you will be selling alcohol, a non-profit group must obtain a daily license permit from the State of California ABC – local phone is 714-558-4101.  We will provide user with map of Novitiate.  If you are NOT a non-profit group, you must employ a caterer who will obtain a permit to sell alcohol.   Form may be  downloaded from this website:  http://www.abc.ca.gov/forms/PDFlist.html 

·         SECURITY:  User agrees to conduct its activities and to supervise and control it participants in all ways consistent with the primary use of said facilities as a Novitiate and to prevent use or conduct which would interfere in any respect with the religious status and use of the property. If alcohol is served, user must provide security. 

·         MUSIC OR SOUND AMPLIFYING EQUIPMENT:  The volume of sound audible on the grounds and outside each building will not interfere with the public’s right to quiet enjoyment of their property. This is not only a matter of consideration for others, it is the law.  Music MUST be turned down if neighbors complain.
